Thank you for Choosing South West DPF Cleaning to carry out your fully customised engine remap. We are dedicated to bringing you a quality product which you are fully satisfied with, however, please make sure that you have read and understood the following points. If you are not happy with any of these, please make sure that you make us aware before we start the process.

All power, torque and MPG figures quoted are estimates. The figures we provide are the figures gained from the same vehicle as yours on a dyno after applying our software. If you dyno your vehicle after our remap without having dyno before, then you must understand that without an original figure, the final power output cannot be questioned.

The % gains quoted can differ from car to car. There are also many external factors that affect MPG figures, such as driving style, temperatures etc. South West DPF Cleaning cannot be held responsible if your vehicle does not meet the expected MPG gains.

As the owner of the above vehicle, you know, to the best of your knowledge that there are no faults/mechanical issues with engine or vehicle that may hinder or affect the remapping process. We carry out a full diagnostic check before and after however this doesn’t always show every fault in the vehicle.

As the current keeper of the above vehicle, it is your responsibility to know the past history of your vehicle and whether it has been modified or remapped prior to South West DPF Cleaning working on it. If you know it has been modified/remapped, then you must make South West DPF Cleaning aware immediately before they begin the process. In the very unfortunate event that a previous remap causes an ECU failure, South West DPF Cleaning will not be held responsible.

The lifetime software warranty covers you for software re-installation. For example, if your vehicle software is reset to the original by a dealer or garage, then we will re-apply the remap free of charge. This is for the lifetime of the above vehicle. However, this free service is only available once. If your software is reset again after this, we can apply the remap for free, but labour costs would be incurred.

Pop & Bangs/Popcorn Limiter – We do not offer any guarantee or insurance against damage to your engine or exhaust system including the catalytic converter when a Pop & Bang/Popcorn Limiter map is installed on your ECU. This software modification comes with direct consequences for your engine and catalytic converter. The most devastating side effects for your engine include damage to the valves, turbine and piston heads due to the explosions which happen at very high temperatures. These components outside the cylinders are not intended to ever get into touch with such high temperatures. We don’t offer any refunds on this product if it’s not to your liking, expectations or requirements.

A missing DPF, EGR or Catalytic, where one was fitted when the vehicle was built can result in an MOT failure. These modifications are meant for track use only and are deemed illegal in the UK for road vehicles. By agreeing to have any of the above removed, you accept at your own responsibility potential penalties.

Any mechanical or electrical failure after a remap is carried out will not be linked to and is not the responsibility of South West DPF Cleaning. Remapping sometimes emphasises an issue already present in a vehicle’s engine. For example, whilst a vehicle may not have any known problems showing on a diagnostic check or the dashboard, it may, say, have a turbo approaching the end of its life. This will not be evident to the customer or South West DPF Cleaning. Applying a remap may cause the turbo to fail sooner than it would have done anyway. There will be no refunds for any such problems after a remap.

In the extremely unlikely event of an ECU failure during the remap process. South West DPF Cleaning cannot be held responsible, as this could easily be due to a problem over which we have no control. For example, an existing fault within the ECU bought to the forefront by the process or, for example, an unexpected power fault.
